COP ARRESTED INSIDE CAMP FOR RAPE

A POLICEMAN facing rape raps on Friday was arrested inside Camp Macabulos in Bgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City.

A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo stated that the accused is a 47-year-old cop assigned at the National Police Training Institute-Police Regional Training Center 7 (NPTI-PRTC 7).

A resident of Bgy. Tibag, Tarlac City, the accused cop was arrested based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 59, Angeles City, Pampanga for qualified  rape of a minor, a non-bailable offense.

Sometime in 2024, the suspect was accused of molesting a minor in Bgy. Tibag, Tarlac City.  

The  cop-suspect is now under the custody of the Provincial Intelligence Unit-Tarlac Police Provincial Office.
