OPERATIVES on Saturday arrested a female “high-value target” (HVT) from Laguna and seized at least P6.8 million worth of shabu in a tea bag in an entrapment operation in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
The suspect’s two other cohorts eluded arrest.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Bulacan police identified the arrested suspect as alias “Belinda,” 51, of Kasambahay, Biñan, Laguna.
“Belinda’s” alleged accomplices, an alias “Adette,” and an alias “Aura,” also residents of Binan, Laguna, are being hunted by the authorities.
Fajardo said that members of the Special Operations Unit 3, the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group, together with the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, the Bulacan Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, San Jose del Monte City police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Bulacan conducted the buy-bust operation in Bgy. Minuyan, SJDM.
Confiscated from the arrested suspect were one plastic tea bag containing shabu worth P6,800,000, as well as one cellphone, and the boodle and marked money.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the SJDM City police jail facility and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
