THIEVES on Sunday attacked a Globe cell site in the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) in Bulacan and stole lithium batteries worth nearly P600,000.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Bulacan police said Miescor Infrastructure Dev’t Corp. representative Joefrey Caceres, 49, of Silang, Cavite, informed them of a theft incident allegedly committed by suspect, alias “Mac-mac,” 38, of Bgy. Bahay Toro, Quezon City, and two unidentified others.
The three suspects forcibly entered the Globe cell site located at Sitio Tubigan in Bgy. Gaya-gaya, CSJDM by destroying the e-lock attached to the gate.
The suspects took the four pieces of rectifier lithium battery valued at least P600,000 then fled on a motorcycle towards Bgy. Gaya-gaya.
Police are conducting a follow-up operation to arrest the suspects.
