OPERATIVES on Thursday arrested two “high-value” drug targets and seized more than P400,000 worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Tarlac City.
Nabbed were alias “Mendo,” 53; and alias “Garci,” 43, both of Bgy. San Miguel, Tarlac City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr., the Tarlac police said joint operatives of the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit and the Tarlac City police confiscated from the suspects four plastic sachets containing shabu weighing at least 60 grams worth P408,000.
Also confiscated were the marked money, two cellphones, IDs and the motorcycle used by the suspects in their illegal activities.
The suspects are in the custody of the Tarlac City police facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
