THE Real Estate Construct and Furnishing Expo held at the SMX Clark Convention Center from November 22 to 23 concluded with strong investor interest and commitments to expand housing and job opportunities for Clark’s growing workforce.
Organized by City Clark Production, the expo gathered 30 exhibitors and showcased over 2,000 housing units ranging from below P1 million to P3 million, along with sustainable building solutions, home furnishing innovations, and related services.
According to Krizia Tranquilino and Roderick Salunga, the event organizers, the expo featured a combined P500 million worth of housing developments from various property groups.
The event opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Clark Development Corporation president and CEO attorney Agnes VST Devanadera, CDC chairman attorney Edgardo Pamintuan, and other CDC officials.
Devanadera underscored the vital role of housing in supporting economic activity and improving quality of life for Clark’s labor force.
“Accessible housing is not just a house—it is a home for all of us,” she said
“Clark has 151,000 workers and 1,350 locators. They have the purchasing power to invest in homes they can call their own,” she added.
She also cited Pampanga’s one-percent poverty rate, among the lowest nationwide, as a strong indicator of consumer confidence and purchasing power.
The expo showcased developments across Pampanga, Tarlac, and Bataan, including projects in Angeles, Mabalacat, Porac, Capas, Bamban, and surrounding areas.
Exhibitors also included banks, security system providers, furniture and home supply companies, and local handicraft producers.
CDC officials said they plan to strengthen partnerships with developers and Clark locators to establish employee housing programs and to sponsor more real estate expos to further stimulate the region’s property sector.
