PORAC, Pampanga — Some P14 million in cash was lost to robbers that hit a house of a contractor in this town.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Pampanga police director Col. Eugene M. Marcelo identified the victim as Ma. Dabbie Lumanlan Lacson, 39, of Bgy. Sta. Cruz, Porac, Pampanga.
A concerned citizen called up the Porac Police Station, saying three unidentified men entered the house of Lacson.
Responding policemen were told that the three suspects– one wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black pants, and two others wearing blue long-sleeved shirts and pants — casually entered the house and at gunpoint forced the victim and her three house companions, including two children, into the comfort room.
The suspects then fled on two scooter-type motorcycles.
Upon checking the house, the victim discovered that the drawer of a built-in cabinet in the master’s bedroom on the first floor had been forcibly opened and an estimated P14,000,000 in cash was missing.
The Porac police immediately launched a follow-up investigation to identify the suspects and recover the stolen money.
