AN assassin shot dead a woman in Tarlac City.
Slain was Maricris delos Reyes, 48, of Orquico, Bgy. Matatalaib, Tarlac City.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. indicated that delos Reyes was in Sitio Molave, Bgy. San Isidro, Tarlac City, when the still unidentified suspect fired shots at her.
Delos Reyes was rushed to the Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital (CLDH), where she was declared dead on arrival from gunshot wounds in the chest and body.
Responding lawmen recovered five pieces of slugs at the crime scene.
Police are checking the identity of the assailant and the motive for the attack.
