MOTORCYCLE-RIDING assassins on Wednesday shot dead a tricycle driver in Pampanga.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by the Pampanga police identified the victim as Elmer Torres Salonga, a resident of P-3 Bgy. San Agustin Sur, Arayat, Pampanga.
Salonga was driving a tricycle when two unidentified men on a motorcycle wearing black jackets appeared from behind and fired shots at him, killing him on the spot.
Responding lawmen found at the crime scene four cal. .9mm spent bullets.
Police are checking the identities of the suspects and the motive for the killing.
