A 39-YEAR-OLD Chinese national on Thursday died in a road accident in Tarlac City.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by the Tarlac police identified the victim as Yuzhi Shi of Bgy. Poblacion II, Gerona, Tarlac.
Shi was driving a Toyota Hi Ace van with plate number ABO 6811 on way to Tarlac City when upon reaching the San Roque junction, the vehicle swerved to the left and hit the concrete highway center barrier.
The victim sustained injuries and was immediately brought to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.
An investigation is ongoing.
