EIGHT policemen on Sunday were arrested while six others are being pursued after they were accused by a Grade 9 student of alleged robbery and sexual molestation in Bacoor City, Cavite.
The accused cops are reportedly assigned at the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group – Special Operations Unit (PDEG-SOU) in Calabarzon region.
Fellow operatives arrested the eight accused cops inside Camp Vicente Lim in Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna at 2 a.m. Sunday.
The names of the suspects, with the ranks of patrolman, police corporal, police master sergeant and police lieutenant, were withheld pending investigation.
They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 8353 or the Anti-Rape Law and Robbery in Band.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 4A Regional Director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas showed the incident happened at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
The complainant was alias “Nena,” 18, a Grade 9 student and a resident of Talaba, Bacoor City, Cavite.
Initial investigation showed the victim was in front of their house using her cellphone when a group of armed men suddenly arrived and introduced themselves as policemen from Canlubang.
The suspects allegedly grabbed the victim by the hand and the suspects forced their way into the house.
Inside, the armed suspects allegedly searched through the victim’s belongings and took her two gold rings, cellphones, and her boyfriend’s shoes and cap.
The suspects reportedly told the victim that because they could not find the person they were looking for, they would take her instead but one of the men interfered and said that he would “take care of her.”
The man ordered his companions to go outside, locked the door and then allegedly forced the victim to perform oral sex before forcing himself on her.
The suspects then fled.
Personnel from the Intelligence Section of the Bacoor Component City Police Station, together with the Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Headquarters Support Unit, and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion, conducted joint follow-up operations that resulted in the identification and arrest of the suspects.
Confiscated from the suspects were firearms and ammunition., the victim’s cellphone and motorcycle, two plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 86 grams and valued at approximately ₱584,800,, the boodle money and two vehicle license plates.
The arrested suspects are in the custody of the Bacoor Ciry Police Station for proper disposition.
Six others suspects are being hunted.
An investigation is ongoing.
