CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A total of 2,133 police personnel were deployed by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) to assist the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) in securing the upcoming “Trillion Peso March 2.0” rally set on November 30.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said the large-scale deployment is aimed at strengthening crowd control, border security, and rapid-response operations in anticipation of the major public demonstration in Metro Manila.
The official said the more than 2,000 personnel will compose the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) contingent while 133 men are earmarked for direct augmentation to various NCRPO operational units.
To ensure swift reinforcement when needed, PRO3 has also placed an additional 1,139 personnel on standby alert status.
In preparation for the deployment, PRO3 recently conducted a Civil Disturbance Management Simulation Exercise designed to enhance tactical readiness, improve coordination, and ensure seamless execution of large-scale police operations.
Peñones reaffirmed the command’s commitment to uphold peace and security during the event.
“PRO3 is fully committed to supporting NCRPO to ensure that the November 30 activity remains peaceful, orderly, and safe for everyone. Our personnel are ready and have undergone the necessary preparations, including CDM simulation exercises, to respond professionally and effectively,” the official said.
The regional director also reminded all deployed personnel to uphold professionalism and respect the rights of all demonstrators.
“We remind our troops to observe maximum tolerance, respect the rights of all demonstrators, and stay guided by the standards of our service. Our role is clear—to help maintain peace and order and safeguard the community,” he said.
Peñones emphasized that the deployment aligns with the PNP Focused Agenda and PRO3’s core mission to Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.
The PRO3 assured that it remains in close coordination with NCRPO to ensure safety, order, and the protection of the rights of all participants throughout the November 30 event.
