Ang pagbibitiw ni Aplasca ay kasunod ng banta ni Speaker Martin Romualdez na haharangain ang budget ng ahensiya dahil sa sunod sunod na katiwalian sa OTS kung saan kabilang dito ang kinasangkutang kontrobersiya sa \u201clunok pera\u201d ng isa sa kanyang mga tauhan.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Sa inihaing courtesy resignation ni Aplasca kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., sinabi nito na hindi niya kayang isakripisyo ang kanyang organisasyon kung kaya mas makabubuting magbitiw na lamang siya.
