San Roque, Asturias, was declared dead on arrival at a local hospital after a firework exploded near his chest.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Investigation showed Remis was lighting fireworks when the incident happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Witnesses told police that Remis &nbsp;approached a bombshell-type firework that failed to ignite, believing it was a dud.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>While attended to the device, itunexpectedly detonated, causing fatal injuries to his chest and face.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remis was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>In Talisay City, an 8-year-old boy died while three others were injured in a firecracker explosion in Purok Kamunggay, Bgy.
