DIPACULAO, Aurora – Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has launched a relief operation in Aurora province in response to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s call for solidarity and support for communities devastated by super typhoon \u201cPepito.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The initiative benefitted a total of 745 families, with 420 receiving essential food packs, while 325 families were also provided with construction materials to aid in the recovery and rebuilding of homes damaged by the typhoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the leadership of president and CEO attorney Agnes VST Devanadera, the CDC reallocated funds originally intended for its 2024 Christmas party and additional resources from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget to procure essential goods and materials for donation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Barangay Dinadiawan in Dipaculao was one of the communities hardest hit by the typhoon and was among the primary recipients of the relief efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Aurora Gov. Reynante Tolentino underscored the widespread devastation caused by the typhoon and stressed the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Nung typhoon \u2018Pepito\u2019 talagang devastated talaga dito, at dito po nangyari \u2018yung pinaka malakas na bagyo. Mahirap pong makabangon kaya po humingi tayo ng tulong lalo na sa national at mga pribadong institutions,” Tolentino said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Napakahalaga ng pagtutulungan ng mga pribadong institution at ng ating LGUs, natugunan ‘yung pangangailangan tulad ng pagkain, inumin, at materyales para sa mga nasirang bahay,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 Dipaculao, Aurora Mayor Danilo Tolentino also expressed his appreciation for CDC\u2019s timely assistance. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa CDC na ipinagkaloob po ang food packs at materyales. Maraming salamat din po sa pangulo ng CDC na si Mam Agnes Devanadera, na nakasama ko rin po noon bilang punong-bayan at salamat po sa inyong napakalaking tulong na binigay sa aming barangay Dinadiawan,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CDC\u2019s relief efforts were conducted in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), local and provincial governments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CDC ensured that the most affected families received aid to help them recover and rebuild their homes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
