BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 Members of the Central Luzon PNP arrested two suspects in the robbery-holdup of an Alfamart Convenience Store in Bgy. Balsik, Hermosa, Bataan less than 24 hours after the crime was committed.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police said the robbery occurred around 12:45 p.m. on February 12 and was reported to the authorities at 1:30 p.m..<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Acting swiftly, Bataan police launched an extensive investigation through CCTV footage review. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n By 1 p.m. on February 13, the suspects were tracked down and apprehended in Bgy. Saguing, Dinalupihan, Bataan.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police said the suspects, identified only as alias \u201cJr,\u201d 32, and alias \u201cGil,\u201d 31, both residents of Bgy. Saguing, were caught with the evidence linking them to the crime. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Confiscated from the suspects were P8,500 in various denominations, a pellet gun resembling a cal. .45 firearm, a helmet, a face cover marked “PIRMA,” and the motorcycle used in the robbery.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A case for robbery was filed against the arrested suspects.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alias \u201cJr.\u201d will also face additional charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and Comelec Resolution 11067 or gun ban.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo lauded the swift action of the operatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe successful operation is proof that criminals have nowhere to hide. Our law enforcement teams will strike fast, pursue relentlessly, and bring justice without hesitation.
