PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the government\u2019s job program with the upcoming launch of Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas\u201d nationwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cHangad ko po ang inyong tagumpay. Kakambal nito ay ang aking panawagan na sana po ay mapalawig pa ninyo ang mga pagkakataon at opoturnidad na nasa inyong harapan,\u201d President Marcos said Saturday during the \u201cTrabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas\u201d job fair for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201dNaniniwala ako na ang bawat isa sa inyo ay may kakayahan at determinasyon upang gawing produktibo ang inyong pamumuhay,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the job fair\u2019s launch in January this year, the President said that more than 9,068 individuals applied for job offerings, with over 1,028 hired on the spot. Employers hired at least 95 beneficiaries from the 4Ps program.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The President highlighted the success of last year\u2019s 1,908 job fairs, where 66,667 individuals were hired on the spot.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cPatunay po ito na napakagaling po talaga ng Pilipino, lahat ng ating mga kababayan,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cKailangan lang ng pagkakataon katulad ng job fair na ito. Kaya naman gagawin ko po lahat para itong programa na ito ay magkalat sa buong bansa,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In addition to creating jobs, the government assists job seekers through job matching to connect them with positions that align with their talents and skill sets.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The \u201cTrabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas\u201d program seeks to empower beneficiaries of the 4Ps through employment opportunities, livelihood assistance, and access to essential support services.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The government plans to assist 4.4 million household beneficiaries this year, including 263,238 in the Davao Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tagum City\u2019s job fair features 28 employers participating to offer various employment and livelihood opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A total of 1,240 job vacancies are available, including customer service representative, clerk, cashier, bagger, carpenter, and mason positions. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" PRESIDENT Ferdinand R.
