CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga \u2013 The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) seized some 260 short firearms from January 10 to February 15 through its revitalized \u201c’Katok\u201d campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said the Central Luzon cops have been actively reaching out to firearm holders, urging them to surrender loose and unrenewed firearms. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fajardo underscored the critical role of responsible gun ownership, especially during the election period, and called on firearm holders with expired licenses to voluntarily deposit their firearms at the nearest police station.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe remind all gun owners to renew their firearm licenses or surrender their firearms for safekeeping.
