THE Police Regional Office 3 headed by Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo joined the nation in celebrating National Women\u2019s Month this March by paying tribute to the invaluable contributions of women, particularly those serving in law enforcement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Themed \u201cBabae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,\u201d this year\u2019s celebration underscored the vital role of women in shaping a more inclusive, progressive, and equitable society. <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

On March 4, PRO3 kicked off its National Women\u2019s Month celebration, with a ceremony at Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, honoring the contributions of female PNP commissioned officers, non-commissioned officers, and non-uniformed personnel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The guest of honor and speaker in the event was attorney  Mylene M. Eguilos-Caluya, director of the National Police Commission (Napolcom) Region 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Napolcom official emphasized the importance of gender inclusivity within the police force. She lauded PRO3\u2019s continued efforts in empowering women to take on key roles in law enforcement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Fajardo reaffirmed PRO3\u2019s unwavering commitment to gender equality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cIn honor of all the women in the police service, we ensure that female police officers play active roles in leadership and decision-making. By providing equal opportunities and fostering an inclusive environment, we bridge gender gaps and strengthen our commitment to gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment within the police organization,” Fajardo said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The month-long observance will serve as a platform to recognize and amplify the voices of women in uniform, whose dedication and service contribute significantly to nation-building.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to Fajardo, the PRO3 remains steadfast in championing gender-responsive policies and initiatives, recognizing that a more inclusive police force leads to a stronger, more effective institution in upholding peace, security, and public service.<\/strong><\/p>\n
