CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 A swift police response on Saturday led to the arrest of two alleged carnappers and the recovery of the car they forcibly took from its owner in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal said arrested were alias “Reden,” 34, of Bgy. Balingasay; and alias “Ryan,” 44, of Bgy. Arnedo Tinomorong, both in Bolinao, Pangasinan<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Victim \u201cMigs,\u201d 21, of the City of San Fernando told police that the suspects pointed a gun at him and forcibly took his black Toyota Land Cruiser.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The vehicle is registered to a certain Zubiri of Makati City.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victim attempted to stop the suspects by reaching through the driver\u2019s side window but was dragged as the suspects sped off.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cMigs\u201d sustained an injury to his left arm.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A motorcycle rider who witnessed the incident immediately alerted nearby police officers stationed on Lazatin Boulevard. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The officers, with the help of SWAT personnel who happened to be in the area, pursued the carnappers and intercepted the stolen vehicle while in heavy traffic. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The suspects were ordered to surrender and were taken into police custody.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized from the suspects were a sling bag containing a loaded cal. .45 gun and a magazine loaded with nine live rounds of ammunition.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Both suspects will be charged with carnapping, grave threats, serious physical injury, and violation of the Omnibus Election Code, according to Dimaandal.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo commended the swift and coordinated efforts of the responding officers.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The incident underscores the vigilance and readiness of our law enforcers in ensuring public safety. Their immediate intervention prevented further harm and led to the suspects’ swift arrest.
