Mabuhay ang atletang Pilipino!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said despite Alex\u2019s loss to world No. 4 Jessica Pegula of the US in their semifinal bout on Friday, she made the country proud.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAlex surmounted a string of setbacks in her journey to be among the best in the Miami Open 2025. Through her sheer persistence, Alex proved that anything is possible,\u201d the PCO said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe, Filipinos, are like Alex.
