Col. Amor Mio Somine said they received the report about the crash at 8:40 a.m. Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Initial probe showed that the aircraft touched down at Lingayen Airport and was completing its final rotation when it nosedived into a swampy area in Bgy. Libsong East in Lingayen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Somine, citing information from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), said after a few minutes of landing, the plane took off again but crashed just a few meters from the airport.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the plane crash.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A TWO-SEATER Cessna plane on Sunday crashed leaving a pilot and a student pilot dead in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
