MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga \u2013 Joint operatives on Friday seized some 994 grams of imported shabu worth P6,759,200 at the Port of Clark in Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Clark, the parcel was misdeclared as “spare parts” from East Africa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The contraband arrived at the Port of Clark on March 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark discovered the shabu during a routine profiling shipment and x-ray examinations. <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A subsequent K-9 sweeping by PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) K-9 Unit yielded positive results for illegal drugs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Four transparent plastic packages containing suspected shabu were confiscated and will undergo forensic examination at the  PDEA Regional Office 3 laboratory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The operation was conducted through the collaborative efforts of the PDEA Clark International Airport Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group, BOC-Port of Clark, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Pampanga District Office, and the PNP Aviation Security Unit 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n
