FIVE people on Friday night died while nine others were injured when the <\/strong>tourist van they were riding fell in a 50-meter-deep ravine in Ampawilen, Sadanga, Mountain Province.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Mountain Province Provincial Police Office (MPPPO) said the white Nissan van with plate number NDA 9883 slipped and landed in the river, resulting in the death of three male and two female passengers around 10 p.m. Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Responding cops and rescuers rushed the victims to the nearest hospital,where five were declared dead.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The other victims were brought to Bontoc General Hospital and are now recuperating.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An investigation showed the van was bound for Buscalan, Tinglayan, Kalinga when the accident happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Meanwhile, MPPPO Director Col.
