BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2014 The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) joins the nation in the observance of the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) on Wednesday (April 9) by paying tribute to the courage, patriotism, and ultimate sacrifice of Filipino and American soldiers who valiantly defended Bataan and Corregidor during World War II.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year\u2019s highlight of commemoration will take place at the historic Dambana ng Kagitingan in Mt. Samat, Pilar, Bataan.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The event will be led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., along with national and local officials, surviving war veterans, and their families.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n PRO3 will deploy police personnel in the area to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of the celebration, <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Troops will be strategically stationed in and around Mt. Samat to secure VIPs, manage crowds, direct traffic, and respond to any emergencies. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deployment will be done in close coordination with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), local government units, and other concerned agencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAraw ng Kagitingan is more than a commemoration — it is a powerful reminder of the enduring bravery and patriotism of our heroes,\u201d said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cTheir selfless sacrifice continues to inspire the men and women in uniform to this day.
