SEVEN people on Tuesday were found dead following <\/strong>a knife attack inside a bakery in Antipolo City, Rizal.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) said the victims were all workers of the bakery in Bgy. Cupang in Antipolo City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An initial investigation showed the victims were stabbed while they were sleeping inside the bakery.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The gruesome murder was discovered when a customer went to the bakery to buy pandesal and heard someone from inside pleading for help.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The customer immediately sought police\u2019 help.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The bodies were discovered around 6 a.m. Tuesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The suspect later surrendered to the authorities and is now in the custody of the Antipolo City Police and the Rizal Police Provincial Office.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the suspect, who claimed ownership of the bakery, he killed the victims in self-defense.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The suspect alleged that the victims had plotted to kill him by smothering him with a pillow and making it appear to his wife that he had died in his sleep from a nightmare or “bangungot.”<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Authorities are investigating if there were other suspects involved in the multiple killings.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" SEVEN people on Tuesday were found dead following a knife attack inside a bakery in Antipolo City, Rizal.
