QUEZON CITY Police District (QCPD) Director Brig. Gen. Melecio Maddatu Buslig Jr. was ordered relieved from his post <\/strong>after one of his officers figured in a grave misconduct case.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin on Tuesday confirmed Buslig\u2019s relief in a press conference at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal in Quezon City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aberin said Buslig was relieved for failing to immediately inform him about the police officer accused of grave misconduct that went viral on social media.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cHe may have presumed that I was already aware of the incident. But cases like this should immediately be reported so that proper actions and solutions could be done in the soonest possible time,\u201d Aberin said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A QCPD officer, with a rank of police sergeant, was caught on video “forcibly entering a private residence<\/strong> in Bgy. Damayan in Quezon City early Monday. <\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The policeman was allegedly drunk when the incident happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The police sergeant allegedly confronted and accused the complainant of wrongdoing, which resulted in an altercation. The complainant also alleged that the suspect inflicted physical injuries on her minor daughter.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The incident was captured on video, which went viral after it was uploaded on social media.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Aberin, the arrest of the errant cop is proof of their no-tolerance policy against all forms of illegal acts perpetrated by police scalawags.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He said there is no second chance for rogue men in uniform.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Deputy Director for Administration Col.
