BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2014<\/strong> A total of 197 police officers from various provinces of Central Luzon received a \u201cheroes welcome\u201d after their deployment to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for the May 12 midterm elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In recognition of their demonstrated courage, efficiency, and integrity in the performance of duty in an area with high security threats, they were awarded the \u201cPNP Heroism Medal\u201d in an awarding ceremony held at this camp.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the medal is a symbol of the sacrifice and bravery shown by the police officers in fulfilling their duties amidst security challenges.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The awarding of the Medal of Excellence is a fitting recognition for the courage, concern, and dedication you have shown for the peace and order of our country.
