BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando \u2014 Two anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the police on Friday led to the arrest of two drug suspects and the confiscation of over P1.3 million worth of suspected shabu and a gun in Pampanga and Bulacan.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In Guiguinto, Bulacan, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Guiguinto police conducted a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Panginay leading to the arrest of alias “Anok,” 44.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAnok\u201d is included in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency\u2019s (PDEA’s) unified drug watchlist.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized from the suspect were 96.42 grams of shabu valued at P655,600, a cal. .38 pistol loaded with three bullets, and the buy-bust money.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In an operation conducted by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3), in collaboration with the Guagua police in Bgy. Bancal, Guagua, Pampanga, led to the arrest of alias “Bert,” 40, who yielded 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000, the marked money, and a digital weighing scale.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alias \u201cAnok\u201d will face an additional charge for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “These two successful operations prove the dedication of our police in PRO3 to combat illegal drugs. We will continue to intensify our campaign to maintain peace and order in the region. We also encourage our citizens to join us in this fight and report any suspicious activities in their community to the authorities,” said Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen.
