FORMER presidential spokesperson Harry Roque is now believed to be seeking refuge in Germany after the Netherlands denied his request for an asylum, Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla on Wednesday said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The latest update on Roque\u2019s whereabouts came after he continues to refuse to return to the Philippines despite being the subject of an arrest warrant issued by a Pampanga court for qualified human trafficking.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAng alam ko hindi siya nabigyan ng asylum ng Netherlands. Kaya nasa Germany naman ang desisyon kung magbibigay nito,\u201d said Remulla in an interview with reporters.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Remulla, Roque may then be extradited \u201cwhen the time comes<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He said the DOJ would wait for further developments before the Philippine government pursues an extradition case against Roque.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAantayin natin. Pwede naman ma-file-an ng extradition pagdating ng panahon.
