THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has suspended the driver\u2019s license of the driver of the Porsche vehicle who went viral on social media for using cellphone while driving on the highway.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The LTO under the guindance of Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon summoned the registered owner and the driver of the sports car.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n LTO chief, Assistant Secretary attorney Vigor D. Mendoza II said the driver of the Porsche sports car was apparently creating a content for social media using the expensive motor vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The video of the incident is already going viral on social media and Mendoza said it was a clear violation of road safety rules.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAnuman ang klase ng sasakyan na minamaneho ay dapat matuto pa rin tayong sumunod sa mga batas trapiko. If the driver is indeed a content creator, then there is this responsibility for him to set a good example to his followers,\u201d said Mendoza.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe already suspended the driver\u2019s license of the identified driver for 90 days pending the result of the investigation,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the show cause order (SCO) signed by LTO-Intelligence and Investigation Division chief Renante Melitante, it said the driver is liable for at least three charges\u2014 reckless driving, violation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act (Sec. 4 of R.A. No. 10913) and being an Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle (Sec. 27 (a) of R.A.
