Gen. Ponce Rogelio <\/strong><strong>Pe\u00f1ones<\/strong><strong> Jr., the Bulacan police identified the victims as Michael Carlo dela Merced, 32, and his wife Ivy, 32, both of Bgy. Calawitan, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>An investigation showed that the couple, together with some relatives, went to Hap Chan Restaurant located in Bgy. Pinagharilan, Baliwag City to have dinner.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The couple parked their vehicle in front of the restaurant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>While dining, Michael noticed two men and a woman, all wearing t-shirts and black shorts, near their vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>When they returned to the vehicle, they saw its left-rear window broken and the two laptops worth at least P58,000 were already missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Baliwag police are now reviewing the CCTV footage in the area for the identification and possible arrest of the suspects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BY KEVIN GALANG A COUPLE on Monday fell prey to members of &ldquo;Basag-kotse&rdquo; gang in Baliwag City, Bulacan.
