THE Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday confirmed that some of the bones recovered by Coast Guard divers at the Taal Lake were from human body.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n PNP chief Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III said the recovered bones will be cross-matched with the DNA samples of the relatives of the missing \u201csabungeros.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Torre said some of the remains recovered by the Coast Guard have been transported to the PNP Forensic Group from Batangas.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He added that he has also instructed the PNP-FG offices in Region 4-A and Batangas to move to Taal Lake to help the processing of any more remains to be recovered by divers in the lake.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The country\u2019s top cop admitted that the remains recovered appeared to be a mixture of both human and animal remains.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAlam n\u2019yo naman na farming area ang Taal.
