CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A buy-bust operation conducted by the Baliwag City police yesterday led to the arrest of a \u201chigh-value\u201d target in Bgy. Virgen Delas Flores, Baliwag City, Bulacan.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Suspect alias \u201cRex,\u201d 45, of Bgy. Sto. Cristo, Baliwag City, was arrested by operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU)- Baliwag City Police Station led by Baliwag City police chief\u00a0 Lt. Col. Jayson San Pedro.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Bulacan police director Col. Angel Garcillano, confiscated during the operation were five plastic packs and one medium plastic sachet containing shabu weighing at least 475.5 grams worth over P3.2 million, a plastic bag with the label \u201cFreeze-dried Durian,\u201d and the boodle and marked money.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr. commended his men for their quick and decisive response, highlighting that the fight against illegal drugs remains a top priority for the police force.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThis successful operation underscores our unwavering commitment to cleanse our communities of illegal drugs. We will persistently strengthen our efforts to hunt down drug traffickers and ensure they are held accountable.
