BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Joint operatives on Tuesday arrested 27 Chinese nationals during separate raids at suspected crypto scam and POGO hubs in Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Eight Filipino women were also rescued during the operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Members of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID), Regional Special Operations Group 3 (RSOG3), Field Support Unit-Bureau of Immigration (FSU-BI), and the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) raided the Asian Greenville Resort located on Jose Abad Santos Avenue in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The operation was based on a mission order dated July 25, 2025 issued by the FSU-BI.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Arrested were 24 Chinese nationals (22 males and 2 females) caught operating a cryptocurrency investment scam hub. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the raid, eight Filipina women who were on site were rescued.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A follow-up operation an hour later was conducted in Clark Hills Village, where three more Chinese nationals engaged in phishing and other scam-related activitie,s were also arrested.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second operation was carried out based on a mission order dated August 4, 2025 also issued by the FSU-BI.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized were several computer workstations and electronic devices, now undergoing forensic examination.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio <\/strong> Pe\u00f1ones<\/strong> Jr. commended the successful operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThese operations are a testament to our intensified campaign against transnational cybercrimes and illegal POGO activities. We are sending a clear message\u2014Central Luzon is not a haven for scammers and exploiters.
