Sta. Filomena, Guagua, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>In&nbsp; report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio <\/strong><strong>Pe\u00f1ones<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Jr., the Pampanga police said the drowning incident was reported to the authorities by the boy&#8217;s grandmother, Marilou Pinlac, 58,&nbsp; of Bgy. Sto Cristo, Guagua.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The grandmother told police that prior to the drowning, her grandson was playing on the riverbank with four other children in Bgy. Sta. Filomena.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Moments later, the boy was nowhere to be found.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The grandmother immediately sought help from barangay officials who informed the Philippine Coast Guard and Special Operation Group-Pampanga led by PO3 Francis Mari to conduct a search and rescue operation.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The boy&#8217;s body was later found on the bay area of the river.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police ruled foul play since there were no signs of physical injury on the victim\u2019s body.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BY KEVIN GALANG A 12-YEAR-OLD boy who was playing with other children &nbsp;on Friday was found drowned in a river in Bgy.
