San Simon, this town.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Pe\u00f1ones Jr. by the Bataan police identified the fatality as John Christopher dela Cruz, 29, of Purok Pag-asa, Bgy. Pagalanggang, while the wounded was Winchelle Chan Gonzales, 27.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The shooting occurred at Purok 4 in Bgy. San Simon.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Initial investigation showed that authorities received a phone call reporting a shooting incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Responding lawmen found the victims bloodied on the road and with gunshot wounds.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dela Cruz was declared dead on the spot while Gonzales was rushed to the JC Payumo District Hospital for treatment.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Witnesses told probers that the gunmen, who fled on a green Honda Fit car after the attack, were wearing bonnets, black long sleeves, and red T-shirts.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An investigation is ongoing into the motive for the shooting.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Authorities are conducting pursuit and dragnet operations for the suspects\u2019 arrest.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG DINALUPIHAN, Bataan — Car-riding assassins on Tuesday shot dead a 29-year-old man and wounded his partner in Bgy.
