BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n ANTI-DRUG operatives on Monday arrested a \u201chigh-value target\u201d (HVT) and four of his cohorts in a buy-bust operation that yielded P476,000 worth of shabu in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Pe\u00f1ones Jr. showed that the Mabalacat City Police Station – Drug Enforcement Unit launched the entrapment in Madapdap Resettlement Center, Bgy. Dapdap .<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Arrested were alias \u201cDel,\u201d 47, tagged as a HVT; alias alias \u201cJing,\u201d 50; alias \u201cJay,\u201d 38; alias \u201cYel,\u201d 29; and alias \u201cPaeng,\u201d 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized from the suspects were 70 grams of shabu worth at least P476,000. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The arrested suspects were brought to the Mabalacat City police for documentation and filing of criminal charges.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pe\u00f1ones commended the arresting team, stressing that the anti-drug campaign remains a priority in Central Luzon.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThis successful operation is proof that our anti-drug drive, anchored on the 7 Focus Agenda of acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., is producing concrete results, the official said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe arrest of a \u2018high-value target\u2019 and his cohorts shows our determination to dismantle drug networks in Central Luzon,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pe\u00f1ones urged the public to support the police in their anti-criminality and anti-drug drives.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe call on our communities to stay vigilant and actively report any drug-related activities.
