Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas showed that the councilman was inside his sari-sari store when the suspects arrived on a motorcycle and without a word shot him repeatedly at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The suspects fled after the shooting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Relatives and bystanders rushed the victim to San Pablo Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police are hunting down the suspects and investigating the motive for the killing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MOTORCYCE-RIDING assassins on Thursday gunned down a village councilor in Alaminos, Laguna Slain was &ldquo;Darwin,&rdquo; a 55-year-old councilman in the town.
