{"id":17237,"date":"2025-10-28T23:32:27","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T15:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=17237"},"modified":"2025-10-30T02:38:21","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T18:38:21","slug":"mptc-gears-up-for-undas-reactivates-biyaheng-arangkada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2025\/10\/28\/mptc-gears-up-for-undas-reactivates-biyaheng-arangkada\/","title":{"rendered":"MPTC REACTIVATES \u2018BIYAHENG ARANGKADA&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>METRO Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) has reactivated its <\/strong><strong>\u201cBiyaheng Arangkada\u201d Motorists Assistance Program<\/strong><strong> to ensure safe and convenient travel during the Undas season. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>With an expected surge in traffic across <\/strong><strong>NLEX, SCTEX, NLEX Connector, CALAX, CAVITEX, and CCLEX<\/strong><strong>, MPTC is intensifying operations through <\/strong><strong>increased personnel deployment, 24\/7 traffic monitoring, and quick-response teams<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Free towing<\/strong><strong> for Class 1 and Class 1M (for CCLEX) vehicles to the nearest exit will be available from <\/strong><strong>6 a.m. of \u00a0October 30 to 6 a.m. of November 3 to assist motorists<\/strong><strong>, while <\/strong><strong>roadworks will be suspended from October 29 to November 3, except for emergency repairs,<\/strong><strong> to keep traffic flowing smoothly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To reduce bottlenecks, <\/strong><strong>NLEX Corporation has regraded shoulder lanes<\/strong><strong> in key areas to support counterflow operations. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Motorists are advised to <\/strong><strong>plan their trips ahead<\/strong><strong> and <\/strong><strong>avoid peak hours<\/strong><strong>, particularly during the following periods:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Afternoon of <\/strong><strong>October 29<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Afternoon of <\/strong><strong>October 30 to evening of October 31<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Morning of <\/strong><strong>November 1<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Afternoon of <\/strong><strong>November 2<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Morning until noon of <\/strong><strong>November 3<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Around <\/strong><strong>2,000 traffic, toll, and emergency personnel<\/strong><strong> will be on duty across MPTC expressways, in coordination with the <\/strong><strong>PNP, LGUs, and key agencies<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At CAVITEX, \u201cBiyaheng Arangkada\u201d will be implemented with <\/strong><strong>PEA Tollway Corporation<\/strong><strong>, a subsidiary of the <\/strong><strong>Philippine Reclamation Authority<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Motorists can use the <\/strong><strong>MPT DriveHub app<\/strong><strong> for real-time traffic updates, RFID reloading, and assistance.
