CAMP CAPTAIN JULIAN OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2014The Regional Medical and Dental Unit 3 (RMDU3) Emergency Response Team helped a pregnant woman deliver her baby inside a tricycle earlier this week.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A tricycle rushed into the camp seeking urgent assistance for the woman who was already experiencing strong contractions.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Under the supervision of RMDU3 chief Col. Jonathan Adanglao, the emergency team led by Capt. Aron Cardijon, OIC of the Nursing Service, along with Lt. Minet M. Bangit, operations officer, and duty infirmary personnel, immediately mobilized to provide aid.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After assessing the situation, the responders determined that the mother would not make it to a hospital in time.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Working under pressure, the team conducted an emergency delivery right inside the tricycle.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The coordinated and efficient efforts of the team helped the woman successfully deliver her healthy baby.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Both the mother and the newborn were given immediate post-delivery care before being transported to a nearby hospital for further observation and medical attention.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Pe\u00f1ones Jr. commended the medical team for their rapid and decisive action, emphasizing their dedication to public service.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The official added that the unit\u2019s swift response reflects PRO3\u2019s commitment to community welfare, which aligns with the PNP Focused Agenda of acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., particularly in promoting responsive, compassionate, and service-oriented policing.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
