{"id":17953,"date":"2025-12-19T07:26:45","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T23:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=17953"},"modified":"2025-12-19T07:38:57","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T23:38:57","slug":"ex-dpwh-undersecretary-catalina-cabral-dead-after-alleged-fall-into-ravine-on-kennon-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2025\/12\/19\/ex-dpwh-undersecretary-catalina-cabral-dead-after-alleged-fall-into-ravine-on-kennon-road\/","title":{"rendered":"EX-DPWH UNDERSECRETARY CATALINA CABRAL DEAD AFTER ALLEGED FALL INTO RAVINE ON KENNON ROAD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FORMER Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral on Thursday night was found dead after she allegedly fell into a ravine on Kennon Road in Tuba, Benguet.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>An investigation showed Cabral left Baguio City Thursday afternoon with her driver, Ricardio Hernandez, 56, and was traveling toward the lowlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>While along Kennon Road, Cabral reportedly asked the driver to stop the vehicle and leave her alone<\/strong> <strong>at 3 p.m. Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hernandez told police that when he returned to the area \u00a0in Purok Maramal, Sitio Camp 5 in Bgy.
