We\u2019re both super busy but, thankfully, the dad and dad\u2019s partner are the ones kind of \u2018Pag may sipon ka, it\u2019s here, let\u2019s send you food. Let\u2019s make sure that you\u2019re well,\u2019\u201d Salonga shared.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Broadway legend then addressed her marital status directly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYes. So, yes, it\u2019s not a secret. I am\u2026 yeah, we\u2019ve been separated for a while. <\/strong><strong>And now he\u2019s happy and I am happy that he\u2019s happy,\u201d Salonga said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Salonga did not provide further details about the circumstances surrounding their separation or when it exactly happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Addressing Nic\u2019s gender, she said: \u201cChildren are not customisable. Every kid is like a blind box. You don\u2019t know what you will get.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cTo those who have yet to have children, she added: \u201cIf you think you will not be able to love your child if they come out to you, if they say, \u2018mom, I\u2019m lesbian, bisexual or trans\u2019, if under those conditions your love will stop, do not have children. Save yourself the drama and heartbreak.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nic is following in his mother\u2019s footsteps as a performer.
