PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has proclaimed special non-working holidays in various areas across the country throughout February to allow residents to fully participate in the celebration of local festivals and anniversaries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through\u00a0<\/strong>Proclamation No. 1145<\/a><\/strong>, President Marcos declared February 26, 2026 a special non-working holiday in Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay to celebrate its Founding Anniversary and the BOG Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The other local special non-working holidays declared this month are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

February 28, 2026 in Sarrat, llocos Norte to commemorate its Founding Anniversary, under\u00a0<\/strong>Proclamation No. 1146<\/a><\/strong>;<\/strong><\/p>\n

February 2, 2026 in llocos Norte province for the celebration of its 208th Founding Anniversary, under\u00a0<\/strong>Proclamation No. 1147<\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n

February 28, 2026 in Tanza, Cavite for the celebration of the 112th Araw ng Tanza, under\u00a0<\/strong>Proclamation No. 1148<\/a><\/strong>;<\/strong><\/p>\n

February 26, 2026 in Zamboanga City in observance of its 89th Charter Anniversary, under\u00a0<\/strong>Proclamation No. 1149<\/a><\/strong>;<\/strong><\/p>\n
