San Nicolas 1, Magalang, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In a report to the Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr.,\u00a0 Pampanga police director\u00a0Col. Eugene M. Marcelo said the vehicle, bearing plate number CAQ 2482, was spotted around 5:35 p.m. \u00a0on Saturday by personnel of the Magalang police during a routine mobile patrol.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The vehicle, which was unattended, was facing south and parked near the town plaza and matches the description circulated in a flash alarm dated February 13, issued by Maj. Ronan James C. Eblahan, station commander of Police Station 4 Angeles City Police Office (ACPO).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The alarm sought information on the whereabouts of the white Toyota Innova and its driver.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Following the discovery, the Magalang police immediately secured and cordoned off the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Angeles City Forensic Unit and the Pampanga Explosives and Canine Unit were requested to conduct forensic examination and paneling of the vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The abandoned vehicle is believed to be connected to the disappearance of Maria Teresa Mamac, 58, a widowed businesswoman and a resident of\u00a0 Bgy. Balibago, Angeles City.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mamac is the widow of the late former Balibago barangay chairman Tony Mamac.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The victim was last seen on February 12. Her disappearance was reported the following day, February 13, by her son Don King,\u00a0 who personally sought police\u2019 assistance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Based on a CCTV footage, around 7:28 p.m. on February 12, Mamac arrived \u00a0on a white Toyota Innova with plate number CAQ 2482 at their residence in Bgy. Balibago from Dolores, City of San Fernando.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>However, at around 8:40 p.m. of the same day, the vehicle was seen leaving their home again.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Since then, Mamac has not been reachable through her cellular phone, and her whereabouts remain unknown.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At the time she was last seen, she was reportedly wearing white shorts and a white T-shirt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Authorities have requested the deployment of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority\u2019s K-9 search, rescue, and recovery units to intensify ground operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The MMDA K-9 Search and Rescue program, established in 2016, deploys specially trained dogs and handlers in disasters and emergency situations. These teams are trained in scent detection and obedience, enabling them to locate missing persons, trapped victims, and even human remains while minimizing risks to responders.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Angeles City police director Col.
