{"id":18850,"date":"2026-02-25T01:24:04","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T17:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=18850"},"modified":"2026-02-25T01:24:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T17:24:04","slug":"central-luzon-law-enforcement-agencies-bolster-coordination-enforcement-initatives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2026\/02\/25\/central-luzon-law-enforcement-agencies-bolster-coordination-enforcement-initatives\/","title":{"rendered":"CENTRAL LUZON LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES BOLSTER COORDINATION, ENFORCEMENT INITATIVES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2014 The Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC) 3 and the Joint Anti-Bank Robbery and Cybercrime Coordinating Committee (JABRACCC) 3 on Monday conducted a joint meeting for a strengthened coordination and enforcement drives.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The conference, conducted at the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Multi-Purpose Hall, highlighted ongoing intensified operations aimed at maintaining peace and order across the region through a unified, whole-of-government approach.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the key updates presented was the continued crackdown on modified and illegal mufflers, which authorities said contribute to public disturbance and road safety concerns.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Records showed that from June 19, 2025 to February 22, 2026, law enforcement units have destroyed a total of 5,227 confiscated mufflers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>An additional 3,005 illegal mufflers were formally presented during the meeting for scheduled destruction as part of sustained enforcement efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Officials also reported significant progress in firearms control operations, with more than 4,000 loose and illegal firearms seized through various police and inter-agency operations now properly accounted for and secured.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to authorities, the recovery of these weapons has helped reduce potential threats to community safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Pe\u00f1ones Jr. underscored the importance of inter-agency collaboration in achieving these results, emphasizing that law enforcement gains were made possible through collective action among partner agencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThese accomplishments demonstrate the effectiveness of a whole-of-government approach. Maintaining peace and order is a shared responsibility, and through the strong cooperation within RLECC 3, JABRACCC 3, and our partner agencies, we continue to implement concrete measures that safeguard our communities,\u201d Pe\u00f1ones said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>He added that the initiatives align with the Philippine National Police\u2019s focused agenda under PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C.
