Gen. Jess Mendez showed the operation at the Global Aseana Business Park 1 in Bgy. Dela Paz was part of the \u00a0\u201cOplan MEGASHOPPER\u201d drive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Joint operatives from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 3 (CIDG RFU3) Regional Special Operations Team as the lead unit,\u00a0 Pampanga Police Forensic Unit, Regional Special Operations Group 3, and the San Simon Municipal Police Station conducated the operation based on a search warrant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Arrested were the alleged owner and workers of the facility identified only with their aliases \u201cLiu,\u201d 30; \u201cYang,\u201d 35; \u201cQui,\u201d 33; \u201cBin,\u201d 31; \u201cHao,\u201d 46; \u201cQi,\u201d 55; \u201cChen,\u201d 63; \u201cLee,\u201d 34; \u201cMa,\u201d 64; \u201cSheng,\u201d 48; and \u201cHai,\u201d 50.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prior to the raid, police received an information from a confidential informant who reported that used automotive batteries were being processed in the facility to extract lead.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The informant also claimed that hazardous waste generated from the recycling process was being improperly dumped behind a warehouse, posing possible risks to the environment and nearby communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CIDG RFU3 chief Col.
