Marcos Jr. has called on the nation to use this time to renew their commitment to building a country grounded in faith and selfless service to others.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMay this Holy Week strengthen our resolve to become a nation guided by faith, united in purpose, and inspired by selfless service,\u201d the President said in his message.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The President urged Filipinos to \u201ctake a moment for a brief pause, rest, and reflection\u201d during the sacred season.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>President Marcos asked Filipinos to remember the immeasurable love of Jesus Christ, whose journey from Jerusalem to the Cross and Resurrection reflects a love that embraces human suffering and triumphs over death.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe Passion of Christ reminds us that true greatness is not found in power, but in sacrifice; not in privilege, but in service; and not in comfort, but in the courage to carry the burdens of others,\u201d the President said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Chief Executive urged Filipinos to renew their commitment to loving and serving one another, especially in times of hardship, and to remain steadfast in faith despite life\u2019s challenges.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>President Marcos added that Jesus Christ\u2019s example should inspire the public to face their own challenges \u201cwith humility, perseverance, and hope.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFor in every act of compassion, every hand extended to those in need, and every sacrifice made for the good of others, we keep alive the spirit of His message,\u201d the President said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>President Marcos also encouraged Filipinos to unite to advance the welfare of families, strengthen communities, and build \u201ca more compassionate and prosperous Bagong Pilipinas.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI wish everyone a meaningful and blessed Holy Week,\u201d the President said. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AS millions of Filipinos prepare for the solemn observance of Holy Week, President Ferdinand R.
