BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n SAN ILDEFONSO, Bulacan \u2013 Police are hunting down the motorcycle-riding \u2018basag-kotse\u2019 members that hit the car of a couple parked in front of a caf\u00e9 in Bgy. Malipampang, this town.<\/strong><\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez, the victims were identified as Gerald James delos Reyes, 33, a real estate broker; and his wife Katherine, 30, a bank teller, both residents of Pasig City.<\/strong><\/p>\n According to the San Ildefonso police, the theft occurred \u00a0at the parking area of 1021 Caf\u00e9 OPC on Cagayan Valley Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n Initial investigation revealed that the couple parked their red MG ZS SUV before entering the caf\u00e9. When they returned after a few minutes, they discovered that the right-side passenger window of their vehicle had been smashed.<\/strong><\/p>\n A closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained from the barangay showed four unidentified suspects were involved in the crime.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The suspects, riding in pairs on two motorcycles\u2014a Honda Beat and a Mio Gear\u2014were seen breaking the vehicle\u2019s window and taking a red bag from inside.<\/strong><\/p>\n The stolen bag reportedly contained government-issued identification cards, a Philippine passport, a Landbank ATM card, and medicines.<\/strong><\/p>\n The suspects, all wearing half-face helmets and different colored upper garments, fled the scene heading northbound toward San Miguel, Bulacan.<\/strong><\/p>\n San Ildefonso police chief Lt. Col. Gilmore A.
