CAMP FERMIN LIRA JR., General Santos City — The Police Regional Office 12\u2019s (PRO12\u2019s) intensified law enforcement operations sent to jail seven drug suspects, including \u201chigh-value targets,\u201d during a series of anti-illegal drug operations across the region.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Intensified operations in General Santos City on April 12 led to the arrest of three \u201chigh-value drug targets.\u201d <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Confiscated were more than 100 grams of suspected shabu worth P690,200.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On April 10, 2026, joint operatives in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat implemented search warrants for violations of Republic Act 9165 and Republic Act 10591, resulting in the arrest of a \u201chigh-value individual\u201d and the seizure of suspected shabu weighing around 50 grams worth P340,000.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also seized were a cal. .38 revolver and ammunition.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a separate buy-bust operation in Surallah, South Cotabato on the same day led to the arrest of a \u201cstreet-level individual\u201d and the confiscation of approximately 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at P102,000, along with drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Another operation in Midsayap, Cotabato on April 9 resulted in the arrest of two suspects and the confiscation of over 17 grams of suspected shabu valued at P117,164, a cal..38 firearm and ammunition.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

All operations were conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and witnessed by barangay officials and media representatives, ensuring transparency and adherence to legal procedures.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

PRO12 regional director Brig. Gen. Arnold P. Ardiente emphasized that these accomplishments reflect the effectiveness of the region\u2019s alternative policing strategy\u2014anchored on intelligence-driven operations, community partnership, and disciplined execution.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cOur approach goes beyond enforcement. We engage the community, strengthen coordination, and ensure that every operation is lawful, transparent, and impactful. This is how we build safer communities\u2014through trust, cooperation, and consistent action,\u201d Ardiente said.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The official added that sustained operations in the region are aligned with the Focused Agenda of PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in intensifying anti-illegal drug operations and ensuring safer communities.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
