CAMP CAPTAIN JULIAN OLIVAS —\u00a0 The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has ramped up its internal cleansing efforts and resolved 43 administrative cases in just two months.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the steady resolution of administrative cases is part of its continuing effort to uphold professionalism, enforce organizational discipline, and sustain public confidence in police service across Central Luzon.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He said the cases, resolved from February 24 to April 26, involved personnel across all levels of the organization.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The total number of respondents included 10 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs), 43 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs), and one Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP), reflecting what the regional office described as a \u201cno rank is exempt\u201d approach to accountability.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Of the 43 cases, nine personnel were dismissed from service — comprising one PCO and eight PNCOs — while 21 others were suspended.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nine respondents were exonerated or found not guilty, three were issued reprimands, and one PNCO was demoted.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Central Luzon top cop emphasized that the initiative forms part of a broader effort to reinforce integrity within the police force while rebuilding public trust.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This is our way of strengthening trust and delivering serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Mendez added that the move aligns with the focused agenda of PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly on integrity monitoring and accountability mechanisms within the Philippine National Police.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
